Basically just say mistakes as a result of stupidity you made in video games.

I'll post more later, but here's one to start: In the original Silver, I didn't understand what a Legendary Pokemon was, so I assumed I would just find another one of the Pokemon later. I killed Ho-oh, Lugia, and Entei....(not in order). Also, I killed Sudowoodo as well, but it wasn't a Legendary.

There's been so many ****-ups in games I've played. My worst had to of been, during Left 4 Dead, on Expert, during the No Mercy campaign, we were very close to a safe house, until I acidentlly shot a car (orange cars often have alarms, and you need to be careful in order not to shoot it, otherwise you trigger The Horde), and me and my A.I. bots all got incapacitated, and had to start from the beginning.

Meh, if you can count me being oblivious to a bridge in Super Mario Bros., and repeatedly dying, yeah, that is one.

I remember the times where I'd be playing Mario Bros 3, and I'd always accidentally fly down a hole when I was younger.

In Pokemon Puzzle Challenge, for the first time I played, I had no idea what to do, so I let the pile go up and up, and I lost.

Where I'd fall down holes on the original Sonic the Hedgehog on Sega Master System II, on one of the levels. (Don't ask me which, I can't remember that far back.)

Shadowscar: LOL, I've never played it.

On Pokemon, on my first playthrough on Blue, and I first discovered Missingno, I did the glitch so many times it eventually killed my Blue.

My Blue died when I'd try and fight Misty, as I was raising a Nidoking (I have no idea what I was doing back then, but a while back long before my Blue's death, I was raising an Eevee, from Celadon City, and all of a sudden when it hit Level 26 it suddenly evolved into a Jolteon and I had not used a Thunder Stone), my game would run slowly then I'd get a white screen. It took me a very long time to track down a copy of Pokemon Blue, and my brother ordered me Pokemon Red, from Amazon after my old Red went through bizarre moments, after messing with MissingNo. for so many years.

There is actually a glitch within R/B that has you evolving Pokemon that need stones WITHOUT stones. I think you were one of the lucky ones...

I had no idea about glitches, other than MissingNo. I only went through the game like a normal everyday Pokefan, then my Eevee evolved, into Jolteon. My old Red, was forever cursed/screwed, as I would restart my game, my Hall of Fame would still be ruined, even though I never went to fight MissingNo. it was weird.

*sigh*

Those were the days...

Now, another damn dumb mistake was when I used Slash instead of False Swipe on Entei on HG, wiped him out.  He was already in the red from Aerial Aces and False Swipes, so yeah. Good thing I saved beforehand.

I've made so many fucks up in my gaming life, it's quite funny. This screw up, was from a month ago, where I was playing Resident Evil 2 to unlock the hidden survivor, Tofu (yes, the next survivor after Hunk the 4th Survivor, and yes, the next one is called Tofu, who's really a walking-talking bar of tofu), and I was trying to unlock him as I have been trying to do so for so many years, and never been able to, because I don't know if he's in our version (like the Grey Children isn't in our version of Silent Hill), or it was something else, and I was trying to figure out why, I was missing a stone to unlock a secret door to continue on with my mission, as I forgot the location of the Serpent Stone in the police station library, so I checked GameWinners, to find out, and I soon remembered and my time was 1:30:56 (1 hour, 30 minutes, 56 seconds), and I need to do the game in under 3 hours.

(I remember years ago my late brother had this friend who unlocked Tofu in our version of the game, but my brother couldn't remember how his friend had done it, as I've tried so many different ways of unlocking Tofu, and either have worked, either because I use cheats (Infinite Health, Infinite Grenade Launcher (Claire-only), and normal Magnum (Leon-only), yet I've tried it without cheats, and tried to avoid fighting, yet he still won't come up, and yet I keep getting two Hunk saves, when the 8th slot is meant to be saved as Tofu)

The first time I found the Famine Skull on Halo 2 while I was exploring, the area it's in was annoying me, cuz when you come into the area where it is, you come out onto a balcony overlooking a large room where Flood and Heretics are fighting, there's another balcony opposite where you come out, but the only way to get to it is by being clever with Covenant Weapons boxes to give yourself height enough to reach it! Anywho, so I managed to position a box near to the rim of the balcony and jumped up! So I walked round and what I can only describe as 4 breakdancing Combat Form Flood with a skull in the middle of their little circle, which turned out to be the Famine Skull, which at the time I didn't know what any of the Skulls did! Oh, and if you're wondering, Famine cuts all dropped ammo in half, which as you can imagine left me baffled as to why I was barely picking up ammo at all! And to make it worse, the only way on Halo 2 to deactivate Skulls is to turn the Xbox off and back on again!

XD Dancing Flood? Sounds funny.

My screw up was when, I was trying for Survivalist Achievement (forgot how to spell it) on F.EA.R. First Encounter Assault Recon, and when I'd gotten to the point where you encounter the Replica Assassins (I don't know their real name, but it's what I call them) until I accidentally threw a grenade, and it blew him up along with myself, so I've started again since.

The Halo 3 Mythic Map Citadel is somewhat of a bogey map for me, I never do well on there! However there is an Achievement for getting a Shotgun Spree in Matchmaking! I came very close to getting it this one time, but my instincts meant that when I'd fire my Shotgun, I'd back off! I've tried to change that now cuz had I kept close to them, thinking about it, I see little to no reason why I wouldn't have been one step closer to getting the Achievement, but the guy I was trying to kill killed me instead...

Ouch, that sucks. I remember trying a matchmaking thing, on Halo 3: ODST with myself, until I blew myself up, and my enemy.

Not TOO bad, then, eh? Least you took your guy with!

Back on the Halo 2 Skull thing, it's not as bad, but, when I first got the Grunt Birthday Party Skull, I quickly discovered that when you get headshot kills, they blow up as though stuck with a Plasma Grenade! Unfortunately, this was the first time I'd done that level on Legendary, and it was the first Arbiter Level, the second one pitted me against the Heretic Leader, the first Halo boss, at all, who took me a very long time to beat! By the time I DID beat him, I'm forgotten all about the Skull, so imagine my surprise when I got to the next level as the Master Chief and Grunts, Jackals, and especially Elites kept blowing up!!!

Haha, it's a pain to keep myself alive, twice at once, since I'm a total noob on Normal to Legendary, but will get into Halo 3 again, as long as my Xbox 360 Elite behaves itself. I got one skull I think on there, plus still skull collecting on Halo Wars.

My mistake once when I was playing Quake 4, where I was using the Grenade Launcher, but the stupid thing bounced off Makron, and at me and it blew me up, and this was on Corprol difficulty setting.

I suck at Tomb Raider.

The error I made once, was when I dived off a high platform, but I missed the water and, well fell my death instead.

I'm just useless in general.

I know I did something wrong on Fallout 3, but I forgot what it was. I'll come back to this.

I don't know if you're that familiar with the Halo Guardians, but Final Fantasy VI has pretty much the same thing! Really early on in the game you have to sneak through this city under siege from the Gestahlian Empire, the enemy, and there are some troops in Magitek armour, who if you talk to, you will find yourself in a fight you have absolutely no chance of winning, cuz you can't do a single point of damage to them, but they always do 9,999 to you! But VI was the first Final Fantasy I owned and played and I wasn't as good with RPG's back then as I am now... I kept foolishly challenging them, not realising you were supposed to sneak through...

I don't know anything about FF. Also a month ago, I finally pinged "Nothing Special" on Left 4 Dead Blood Harvest Campagin. What's annoyed me is when I tried to get a Skull on Halo 3, with the AA Wraiths, there's a damn bug/glitch in the game, so I spent hours finding a few skulls to find out, there's a damn glitch in one mission, that I have to complete the entire game JUST to get that skull.

I know I make one hell of a screw up on, I think it was Saints Row. I can't remember, what I did.

I made a screw up on Resident Evil 2, as I was about to go grab the Diamond Key, I had left the second Red Jewel behind, so I had to run back and grab it.

Last year, anyone who owned Halo 3: O.D.S.T. and had Xbox Live Gold got to play the Halo: Reach Beta by, when it came up, going through a link that came up on the O.D.S.T. Start Menu and downloading it! We waited 'til like 6 o'clock cuz they were running by American clocks, but when we finally got it, everyone in the then ANBU Clan immediately set up their emblem and armour to our symbol and whatever they wanted! We saw on a loading screen the new control setup and pretty much memorized it! Or so we thought... In all Halo's up until that point, B had always been the Melee button, now on Reach's standard controls, it's the right shoulder button, which in our very first game, I forgot... 3 times... We then switched over to Recon cuz it's the closest to Halo 3, and thus the closest to the standard setup we could find!

This screw up happened a few hours ago -

I was playing Super Mario World, and as I was about to jump onto the large bullet (I've forgotten the name), but I jumped at the wrong moment and landed on him, killing me.

My first play through of Final Fantasy X ever (so you're allowed a few mistakes, right?), and there were numerous bosses who were really doing my head in! The thing is, your best moves, known as Overdrives on X (that's 10, by the by), can be charged and stored depending on how you set your character up: You can set it up so it charges every one of that character's turns, when they take damage, when other party members take damage and several other means! Unfortunately, I could never find a good place to train for absolutely ages, so I was quite weak when I came up against later grunt encounters! But until like the penultimate compulsory boss I didn't realise I would have a MUCH easier time jus spamming Overdrives at them! Especially as at that point I had like the best guaranteed Summoning: Bahamut!

I made quite a screw up on F.3.A.R. where I was on a mission (forgot which one), and I had forgotten to pick up Alma's doll.

On my most recent run through of Soul Reaver 2, I discovered that I needn't have worried about coping with the dodgy battle system making me struggle with the Sarafan Priests who have an uncanny ability to hit you no matter how much you dodge, simply cuz you actually start with one of the two most powerful weapons in Legacy of Kain anyway! Translation: I coulda jus used my Wraith Reaver and worry about my health when I was only really facing a single enemy...

I still remember when I was about 9, as my brother and I were playing Super Mario Bros 3, on his NES, and as I was about to fly to a Warp Zone, I nstead ended up flying down a damn hole.

I preordered Sapphire and as you can imagine, I didn't know any of the Type matchups on Gen 3 Pokιmon, so I kinda have an excuse for trying to use Confusion on a Carvanha!

I had the same problem on Red/Blue, as I wasn't sure why Fire Blaze (my original Charmander on my original Red) didn't do much damage to Onix.
